Ways you can support the Mission to Cure Diabetes
In 2010, JDRF is funding $4.9 million in research in San Diego. Currently, there are 25 JDRF research projects at local institutions such as UCSD, The La Jolla Institute of Allergy & Immunology, The Salk Institute and others. You can support this and critical research around the world by donating to JDRF.
JDRF is an accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency; all donations are tax deductible. A receipt will be provided via e-mail. Additionally, donations of $250 or more will receive a letter of acknowledgment.
Make a donation in Honor of a Loved One
A JDRF Tribute Donation offers you a meaningful way to celebrate a special person while supporting the mission to find a cure for diabetes.
A JDRF Memorial Donation offers you a thoughtful, caring way to remember a loved one while contributing to JDRF's mission.
Once we process your information you will receive an acknowledgement letter, and the person of your choosing will also receive a letter notifying them that you have made a gift in the honoree's name (the amount of the gift is not disclosed).

Make a Stock Gift
Gifts of appreciated stock or mutual funds are another great way to give to JDRF. You get an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of securities you have owned more than one year, subject to the usual limitation, and capital gains tax will be completely avoided on these assets.

Donate your vehicle to JDRF
You can support vital diabetes research by donating your used vehicle to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
How does it work? Complete the form at the link below, or contact us at JDRF. JDRF partner Car Program Inc. handles the rest, including towing, providing receipts, title processing, reconditioning, sale at auction, accounting, and distribution of proceeds. Car Program Inc.'s services are available 7 days a week. JDRF receives 70% of the net proceeds for each accepted vehicle donation.
